Turkey Bowl this Saturday!!!

Saturday, November 30th
TURKEY BOWL
Flag football will be at 3 p.m.
Invite football players to join us!
The post-football party will be at 5 p.m.
Protect our carpets: Please bring a change of clothes in case you get muddy.

Soup will be provided. Please bring a food or beverage item to contribute to the post-game feast. Invite friends! Also, feel free to bring a favorite board or card game.

Directions:

From I-79S - Take the Bridgeville exit and turn right.

Turn right at the light (by BP and McDonalds).

At the top of the hill, turn left onto Boyce Road.

Take the second left onto Hunting Ridge Trail.

The football field is on the right just past the bend in the road.

Be careful not to park in any driveways or numbered spaces.

From Rt. 19 S, turn right onto Boyce Road.

Follow Boyce Rd. for a couple of miles and look for the 7-11 on the left. As soon as you pass the 7-11, take the next right onto Hunting Ridge Trail.

The football field is on the right just past the bend in the road.

Be careful not to park in any driveways or numbered spaces.

KICKOFF IS HERE!!!

Friday, October 25th – KICKOFF CELEBRATION – Bring friends, co-workers, family members… Our new name will be launched at Kickoff.  KICKOFF STARTS AT 7 P.M.

If you would like to help out, feel free to come a little early and help with setup.  You could also help out by bringing something to share (or something for the Baked Goods Contest - see below).
 
Activities include:
 
Live Band from 7 to 8 p.m.
 
Special Prayer Experience - We will have a room set up from 8 to 9 for people to come in for a prayer experience.  We will have someone there to pray with anyone who requests prayer.
 
King of the court ping pong-King Bill is challenging all players to come on down and try to wrest his crown away from him!
 
Cornhole Tournament - starts at 8 p.m.
 
Baked goods contest - anyone can enter!
 
Baked Goods Contest Rules:

There will be a savory baked goods contest and a dessert baked goods contest at the same time. Judging will be based on taste (most important), creativity, and presentation. Please bring your baked goods to the registration table.

¨      Growth group Sundays at 9:50 a.m. in Room 303 Union Place
 
Mission: The mission of Celebration Singles is to evangelize and disciple singles (married couples welcome) throughout the Pittsburgh area, to know sound Biblical doctrine, have Godly character, and live faithful, humble Christ-centered, service-oriented lives that Glorify God. The goal is to assimilate them into a Christ-centered community-focused, diverse fellowship, mobilizing them for active involvement in service and outreach efforts designed to build the Kingdom of God.  Married people are also welcome to become involved if spouses attend activities together. Those who are separated are encouraged to seek out divorce recovery groups and small group Bible studies. They are welcome to come to Celebration Singles if they will first meet with Celebration Singles leadership to discuss their situation.

The Sparks are playing at Monroeville Community Park this Saturday, September 14th,  from 6 to 8 PM at the Amphitheater. The concert is free, but they are asking for non-perishable food donations to the Crossroads Food Pantry. Debbie Wolski is planning on attending. The topic for our study on Friday is titled "Pre-Existing Conditions" by Pastor James Merritt based off of 1 Cor 7:25-40. This is an excellent message about single life in the church.
