The church service starts at 6 p.m. so we will plan to meet in the church lobby which looks onto E. Ohio St at 5:40 p.m. so we can sit together. Afterwards we will go over to First Night together.

More Info The GAC Single Adult Ministry invites you and your friends to join us for the Christmas program at Greensburg Alliance church and dinner following. We will be meeting at the church at about 3:30 to get seats together for the children's program which starts at 4:00 PM. This program will be followed by an intermission while the stage is changed over for the adult Christmas cantata which will run until approximately 6:45 PM. Several of our own members will be participating in the cantata. Please come out and show your support.
Following the cantata, any who are interested are invited to join us for dinner at Giannilli's in Carbon. Everyone will be responsible for their own dinner bill. The address for the restaurant is at 408 Thomas School Rd. and is only a few minutes from the church. Directions can be found at:http://www.ginogiannillis.com/directions.htm#carbon. Note that there are two Giannilli's in the Greensburg area. We will be going to the one closest to the church in Carbon. Turkey Bowl Highlights

We will be meeting at the church at about 3:30 to get seats together for the children's program which starts at 4:00 PM. This program will be followed by an intermission while the stage is changed over for the adult Christmas cantata which will run until approximately 6:45 PM. Several of our own members will be participating in the cantata. Please come out and show your support.
Following the cantata, any who are interested are invited to join us for dinner at Giannilli's in Carbon. Everyone will be responsible for their own dinner bill. Operation Christmas Child - Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who participated in Operation Christmas Child for Samiritan's Purse.
We collected 19 boxes stuffed with toys, supplies, and goodies. They are on their way to bless children in other parts of the world.

Lunch Buddies
Lunch Buddies was a lot of fun on Sunday, November 14th. Our discussion ranged from church topics to jazz to football to all kinds of topics. The food was delicious too. Many of the attendees opted for the breakfast buffet. A certain young lady who shall remain nameless raved about the french toast which disappeared from her plate almost before it landed there. I (Cathi) loved the Whipped Cream Potatoes and Honey Mustard Chicken which I got at the Bistro to Go. M-m-m-m-m-m!
King Bill was still on his self-constructed pedestal, but hopefully a challenger will dethrone him soon :-)
Lunch Buddies is open to singles of all ages. We do have a special reserved table for singles in their 30s to help them connect. (Some of you have said that it's tough to find other singles in their 30s.)
Everyone is responsible for buying his/her own lunch. No purchase is necessary; you can still come.

Bring the gospel to a child around the world by simply sharing a shoebox full of inexpensive gifts. This will be the only Christmas gift they receive and the gospel is presented as the gifts are distributed. It is amazing the joy that is shared.
Volunteers take a shoebox and fill it with small Christmas presents. Shoeboxes are available at Celebration Singles events and must be returned by November 12th. (You don't need an official shoebox - any shoebox will do.)

RSVPs are very helpful to notify you in case plans get changed. Sign up sheets are available in the church lobby or you may RSVP by e-mailing bussmr@zoominternet.net. Your cooperation in letting us know if you are interested in attending an event will be greatly appreciated so we can plan accordingly and make your fellowship with us more enjoyable!
New small group Bible study series began Sept 19, 2010
When: 1st and 3rd Sunday night of each month (excluding holidays) from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM
Material: The Testing of Your Faith by Dr. Bruce Wilkinson
Workbooks will be made available and donations will be accepted to offset their cost. Please RSVP by e-mailing bussmr@zoominternet.net or by calling the church at 724-837-1122 724-837-1122 if you plan on attending so that we can ensure enough workbooks are available.

Please RSVP at least two days in advance if child care is needed so that we can try to accomodate your request.

More Info Henry Forehan has again generously offered to open his home to us on New Year's Eve for a great time of food and fellowship. You are welcome to arrive any time after 7:00 PM as your schedule permits. Bring your favorite table games and a snack to share.
Bible Studies
Celebration Singles has a growth group which meets at ACAC on Sundays at 9:50 a.m.
Bruce Bickel has a Bible study that meets at 12:10 on Thursdays at First Presbyterian Church on Sixth Ave. Downtown Pittsburgh.

Time is short to get your Christmas boxes in
Just a reminder that if you are participating in Operation Christmas Child, the deadline for turning your boxes in is Friday, November 12th
Bring the gospel to a child around the world by simply sharing a shoebox full of inexpensive gifts. This will be the only Christmas gift they receive and the gospel is presented as the gifts are distributed. It is amazing the joy that is shared.
Volunteers take a shoebox and fill it with small Christmas presents. Shoeboxes are available at Celebration Singles events and must be returned by November 12th. (You don't need an official shoebox - any shoebox will do.)

Dinner and Bowling Pictures
Andy and Cathi enjoyed a 300 evening! OK, maybe it took 3 games to get over 300, but it was fun!
