New name launched!

Kickoff was a lot of fun.  Thanks to everyone who helped out!

Our new name was launched.  We are now Prime Time!

KICKOFF IS HERE!!!

Friday, October 25th – KICKOFF CELEBRATION – Bring friends, co-workers, family members… Our new name will be launched at Kickoff.  KICKOFF STARTS AT 7 P.M.

If you would like to help out, feel free to come a little early and help with setup.  You could also help out by bringing something to share (or something for the Baked Goods Contest - see below).
 
Activities include:
 
Live Band from 7 to 8 p.m.
 
Special Prayer Experience - We will have a room set up from 8 to 9 for people to come in for a prayer experience.  We will have someone there to pray with anyone who requests prayer.
 
King of the court ping pong-King Bill is challenging all players to come on down and try to wrest his crown away from him!
 
Cornhole Tournament - starts at 8 p.m.
 
Baked goods contest - anyone can enter!
 
Baked Goods Contest Rules:

There will be a savory baked goods contest and a dessert baked goods contest at the same time. Judging will be based on taste (most important), creativity, and presentation. Please bring your baked goods to the registration table.

Also, music, volleyball, games, and more.

Turkey Bowl - mark your calendars!

Saturday, November 30th – Turkey Bowl – Flag football at 3 p.m. at the field in Hunting Ridge followed by a party at 5 p.m. at Cathi’s townhouse in Bridgeville. Soup will be provided. Please bring something to share. Field location: take I-79S to Bridgeville exit, turn right at the light. At the T, turn right (by BP). Approx. 2 miles uphill, turn left onto Boyce Road. Take the 2nd left onto Hunting Ridge trail. The parking lot for the field will be on your right just after the road curves. Contact Cathi with questions: jones@rmu.edu

Bible Discussion this Friday

Bible Discussion this Friday, October 11th will be at 7:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room.

George will be leading the discussion on "For the Love" - (Fruit of the Spirit - 1 Corinthians 13).

Afterwards we will continue our fellowship at Atria's in PNC Park.

¨      Bruce Bickel has a Bible study that meets at 12:10 on Thursdays at First Presbyterian Church on Sixth Ave. Downtown Pittsburgh.
¨      Providence Presbyterian Church (large group) – 1st and 3rd Saturdays from 7-9:45 p.m., Robinson Twp. at 77 Phillips Lane, 15136
¨      Growth group Sundays at 9:50 a.m. in Room 303 Union Place
 
Mission: The mission of Celebration Singles is to evangelize and disciple singles (married couples welcome) throughout the Pittsburgh area, to know sound Biblical doctrine, have Godly character, and live faithful, humble Christ-centered, service-oriented lives that Glorify God. The goal is to assimilate them into a Christ-centered community-focused, diverse fellowship, mobilizing them for active involvement in service and outreach efforts designed to build the Kingdom of God.  Married people are also welcome to become involved if spouses attend activities together. Those who are separated are encouraged to seek out divorce recovery groups and small group Bible studies. They are welcome to come to Celebration Singles if they will first meet with Celebration Singles leadership to discuss their situation.
