Want to meet other singles? Join us for Lunch Buddies - an informal lunch gathering open to all singles.
Lunch Buddies will be held the second Sunday of each month at Bistro to Go on E. Ohio Street.
Come any time between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Purchase your own food and/or beverage and join us in the big meeting room behind Bistro Soul next door to Bistro to Go. (There is a breakfast buffet there if you are interested in that.)

Volleyball, Ping Pong, Board games – All skill levels welcome. Feel free to bring your favorite board game.

Saturday, August 14th - Biking
The Ohiopyle Bike trip WILL occur this Saturday (8/14/10)
The Ohiopyle Rappelling trip WILL NOT occur this Saturday (8/14/10) due to some sudden unforeseen circumstances… (A future rappelling trip, possibly to McConnell’s Mill this Fall is possible, stay tuned!)
Should you want to meet at the church and car pool, you should plan to meet about 8:45 AM and leave NO LATER than 9:00 AM! Individuals will need to plan this, I will NOT be at the church. So call or email friends if you plan to car pool, otherwise just see who shows up!…
Those who plan to drive separately (and those who meet at the church), need to plan to be at the “Train Station and Visitor’s Center” at 10:45 AM and leave by 11:00 AM. The bike trip will take about one hour+ each way. It is approximately 11 miles one way (22 miles round trip).
Bring money for lunch at “Sister’s Café” in Confluence and dinner at “Cracker Barrel” in New Stanton…
Bring a bathing suit, just in case we plan to swim after the bike ride. There is a place to shower fairly close to the Visitor’s Center…
If you do not have a bike, Bike rentals are available… “The Kick Stand” (part of Ohiopyle Trading Post and next to the Visitor’s Center) will rent bikes for $5/hour. Their phone number is 1-888-644-6795. So to rent for the ride would be about $20-25… (You will need a $10 deposit and a valid driver’s license.)
Directions - From the West: From the PA Turnpike, take Exit 91, Donegal. Turn left onto PA 31 east. Travel about two miles, turn right onto PA 711 and PA 381 south. Travel ten miles to Normalville, turn left onto PA 381 south for 11 miles to Ohiopyle.

Dale Craig is willing to provide rappelling and rock climbing for those who are interested. If you would like to learn, Dale will teach you. If you are interested in this, you must RSVP by August 10th.
Some people will be biking on the Ohiopyle trail in addition to or instead of rappelling.
