Contra dancing at the Swisshelm Park Community Center.

  Contra dance is a fun, social activity.  We welcome all ages and experience levels from absolute beginners to long-time dancers.  Our dances feature live music and all dances are taught.  Bring yourselves, bring your friends, join the fun.  Dances start at 8pm, with a beginner’s lesson at 7:30pm. The cost is generally $8 for adults and $5 for students.

The Community Center is not directly on any bus routes, but the 61B stops about 5 blocks away at Monongahela and Whipple.
From Parkway East (Rt. 376):
Take the Edgewood/Swissvale exit toward Swissvale (right fork). Turn Right onto Monongahela. Take a quick Right onto Whipple. Go west on Whipple to 4th stop sign, Nevada, and turn Right. After Monumental Way, bear left down short hill to Windermere, and turn right. The Community Center is on the left. Park on the street.

First Night

We had a lot of fun at First Night.  Had dinner at Christos Greek restaurant (yum!).  Saw 4 amazing shows and enjoyed the lights downtown.

Growth Group

Growth Group meets every Sunday at 9:50 in room 303 Union Place.

King Bill will lead us in a discussion of Max Lucado's Living Without Fear.
7:30 p.m. in the Heritage Room
Afterwards we will continue our fellowship at the Olive Garden Greentree.

Sunday, Janary 13th - Lunch Buddies
Lunch Buddies is held the second Sunday of each month at Bistro to Go on E. Ohio Street.  It is an informal lunch gathering.

Come any time between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Purchase your own food and/or beverage and join us in the big meeting room next door to Bistro to Go on E. Ohio St.. (There is a breakfast buffet there if you are interested in that.) http://www.bistro-togo.com/
