Encouraging David

Our friend David Held lost all of his possessions in a fire this week.  We would like to encourage him and offer our support.  We hope to see him at Dale's on Friday so if you would like to bring something you think he might need, please bring it.  If he doesn't make it, we will make sure that it gets to him.

Possibilities from George include:

Think about things you/we use everyday, like:

soap, razor, underware, socks, deodorant, watch, etc.  He will eventually need a "care package" with these type of things and MUCH more...  What I have been doing (not that you need to) is getting things set aside for him, when he moves into a new apartment...

 

I plan on encouraging him (per Cathi's suggestion) to attend Dale's fellowship time Good Friday evening...The best thing you/we can do for Dave is tell him we are thinking (praying for) about him & possibly bring some essential items.  Tell him you are preparing a care package, IF YOU ARE, and remind him he is valued and loved...

 

If you are planing to make/prepare a "care package" let me know the type of items, so I can coordinate...  I would hate for Dave to end up with 20 pairs of underware and NO socks!  :)

Shirt - Large or 16-1/2 neck and 36-37 length

Pants - 34 waist and 36 inseam or length

Shoes size - 13

 Friday, April 26^th – Coffeehouse with Bruce Bickel.  7:30 p.m. at ACAC – specific room to be announced.  Afterwards we will fellowship at Atria’s PNC Park.
